County Clare is a county in Ireland, located in the Midwestern region of the country. The county is known for its nickname, ‘The Banner County’, and is also known for its plentiful water boundaries including the River Shannon, Ireland’s longest river. It is also bordered by the Lough Derg, the third-largest lake in Ireland.
